Lebanon,Mo.-The 5th Annual Midway Fall Brawl brought its normal fall racing atmosphere as the feature events produced photo finishes and new champions to the speedway.

The A-Mod feature saw 2007 track champion Eric Hudson bring a talented field of open-wheeled drivers to the green as defending champion Tony Jackson Jr quickly moved to the top groove as they went side by side.2-time track champion Jamie Ragland made it 3 wide racing as he found the middle lane to his liking and would lead lap 1 with Jackson Jr following.Caution flew on lap 5 as third place running Kris Jackson pulled-up high with a flat tire bunching the field-up.On the restart,Ragland would set a fast pace as Jackson Jr pulled to the high groove.11th place starter Erik Maggard had quietly made his way forward and was in the top 5 by lap 6.With Ragland setting the pace,Jackson Jr tried several attempts to take the lead but Ragland would hold them off while Hudson,Maggard,Terry Kirk,Justin Neuman and Chad Status were battling.During the Green runs,Maggard had moved through the field and got around Jackson Jr to take over second place on lap 12 and started closing in on Ragland.Caution waved on lap 19 as Jackson looped the car in turn 2 closing-up the field. With Ragland still leading,Maggard staying to the low groove as Ragland kept up high.On the restart,Maggard kept the pressure on while Kris Jackson was coming quickly to the front. On lap 22,Maggard made the bottom groove stick as he took over the top spot from Ragland as Ragland went up high in turn 4 the following lap trying to get the lead back.A flat tire sent Ragland to the pits while Maggard found pole setter Eric Hudson on his back bumper. On the restart Maggard stayed glued to the bottom lane as Hudson tried the middle groove with Kris Jackson And Status side by side.Maggard pulled away in the last 2 laps to take home the $1,000 prize and became the 5th different Fall Brawl Modified winner with Hudson,K.Jackson,Status and a quiet moving Sam Petty completing the top 5.

The biggest surprise of the nights features would be in the B-Mods with a rookie driver upsetting a talented field of drivers. On the start, pole setter Jamie Barker and Tyler Brown went side by side on the opening lap as Brown lead lap 1.That would be short-lived as Tyler pulled up high in turn 4 the following lap with problems.Jamie Barker brought the field to the green with Jimmy VanZandt following closely and Jason Otto in tow while defending champion Colt Cheevers followed.Following a couple of cautions, rookie Micheal Stake had found a groove right-up by the wall and had moved from his 10th starting spot into third place and was in a tight battle with Colt Cheevers while back row starters Jeff Albright Jr and JC Morton were coming forward. On lap 8,with Barker leading,Stake had moved into second place and was applying pressure as 2009 point champion Mickey Burrell moved into third with Cheevers and Albright following. On lap 11,Stake made a move to the high outside of Barker and took over the lead with Burrell folowing with Cheevers coming quickly. From lap 14 till the finish on lap 20,Burrell tried seveal times to get around Stake, but the former karting track champion kept the top lane clean and took home his first ever Modified feature win as Burrell,Cheevers,Barker, and Otto grabbed the top 5 spots.

The FactoryStocks showed the crowd just how racing is with a talented field taking the green flag with Sundance Keepper grabbing the early lead from his pole spot while Doug Rich followed closely. The first yellow flew on lap 5 for debris, but Keepper slowed as he made contact with another car ending his night.Rich would take over as the leader with Ted Welschmeyer following closely and newcomer Caleb Chapman behind them.On the restart,Rich was fast but all eyes were in the middle of the pack as 2008 champion Tim Petty and 2009 champ Bob Gustin were charging from the back part of the field and were coming fast.During the long green run,Rich would pull away as Welschmeyer was looking for some bit upstairs while Tyson Troutman,Petty,Gustin,Chapman and former champion Dylan Keepper were in a dogfight for third place.Caution flew on lap 12 as Gustin and Chapman got together sending both to the back of the field.Rich again took control with Welschmeyer,Troutman,Petty and Keepper battling,On lap 15,Petty's charge ended with a rear wheel problem sending him to the pits.On the final restart,Dylan Keeper had moved into second place and was applying pressure to Rich as Troutman moved to the very bottom and joined the battle.Heading into the final lap,Rich was holding off Troutman's challanges as Keepper,Gustin,Welschmeyer and Tim Riffle all tight in a pack.Coming for the checkered flag,Rich got crossways in turn 4 went spinning as Troutman moved around the leader to grab the win as cars were crashing at the flagstand.Keepper kept it clean and went around Rich to take home second place as Welschmeyer,Riffle and Gustin completed the top 5.It was Troutman's first ever Midway win and a big payday to the Friday night regular.

In the history of the Fall Brawl only 1 driver had ever defended the title, make that 2 as the Bomber feature had Shawn Strong lead all 20 laps while leaving the field to battle for second place.Rookie Kolt Barker and Mike Willoughby seemed to have something for Strong in the middle stages of the feature, but Willoughby would cut down a tire and Barker would hold off repeated challanges from Rodney Yost to take the runner-up spot as Tyler Schoen came up quickly late in the race to challange and Joe Francis completed the top 5.

In LateModelSportsman action, pole setter and point champion Ben Newell and Steve Beach battled early in the feature with Newell opening up a 4 car length lead as Mike Montague and last place starter JC Newell battled all night long.Ben Newell started to pull away from the field, but a late race caution for Bradley McDowell allowed Montague a 2 lap shot at the top spot.On the final restart,Montague pulled-up to Newell's back bumper, but Newell got the bite off turn 2 to pull away and grab the feature event and his biggest payday taking home the $500 to win event.Montague,Beach,JC Newell and Bill Joiner completed the top 5.
