O’Reilly TORA to join the Lucas Oil NARA Late Model Dirt Series June 24-25 in the Nation’s Central States

Race fans around the Midwest be sure to mark your calendars for June 24-25 as the newly formed and growingly popular Lucas Oil NARA Late Models will join the O’Reilly Auto Parts TORA Late Models for two co-sanctioned events.
Last year the Stacker 2 Xtreme DirtCar Series joined up with O’Reilly TORA for a 50 lap race at the Belleville High Banks. Many of those heavy hitters along with more very famous faces will tackle the lightning fast High Banks on Friday, June 24, with the feature winner receiving a cool $10,000 payday. Last year in his first race at the track Brian Birkhofer got past Earl Pearson Jr. to win the feature event shown on the Speed Channel. It will also mark the first of four visits to the High Banks for the O’Reilly TORA series, last year’s winner in the other event at Belleville was 2004 Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year Mike Wiarda. On Saturday night, June 25, the 2 sanctions will head about an hour north to the Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska for the second of the 2 races. The race will once again pay $10,000 to the winner. It will mark the first ever appearance by the Lucas Oil NARA series at the young track, and the second for the O’Reilly TORA drivers with all time wins leader Kyle Berck taking the checkerd flag there in the inaugural visit. The Junction Motor Speedway is located just off 81 highway to the south of York, Nebraska and is a state of the art 3/8 mile. Tire rules for the weekend are still being discussed at this time and will be announced soon. As a result of this scheduling the Jetmore Motorplex has graciously rescheduled their event for July 16.
