WHAT: USMTS Kansas Spring Fling, race #3 and 4 of the 2005 O’Reilly Auto Parts United States Modified Touring Series.

WHEN: Friday and Saturday, March 18-19, 2005.

TRACK: Thunderhill Speedway, 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval.

LOCATION: Mayetta, Kan.

DIRECTIONS: Thunderhill Speedway is located 14.6 miles north of U.S. Highway
24 on U.S. Highway 75 to 142nd Street, then 2.2 miles west.

STARTING FIELD: 24 cars will start the Holley "A" main each night, with qualifying through heat races and "B" mains. The top 13 cars in Home Pride Passing Points accumulated in the heat races will be locked into the Holley "A" main each night. An additional 9 cars will qualify from the "B" mains, with two provisional starters added to the Holley "A" main to create the 24-car starting field. Additional sponsor provisional(s) may be awarded.

PURSE: Friday - $2,000 to win, $200 to start; Saturday - $3,000 to win, $250 to start.

A big field of cars is expected for this event. Last season saw more than 70 drivers on hand .... Factory Stocks and Super Stocks will also be on the racing card both days (no entry fee - pit pass only). The Factory Stock winner will earn $250 each night.
Super Stocks will pay $300 to win on Friday and $350 to win on Saturday ....
