I'll take Stewart with those odds, or any. Simply the most dominant last half of the season driver in NASCAR the last 5 years. This championship is his to lose.
 
If Martin stays in the top ten, after this race, these stupid new point rules, could play into his favor. He is on a roll right now.
 
Na Stewart wont make it, he needs to be sponsored by a tissue company, and Martin's Viagra car can't keep it "up" in the top ten. Dale Jarrett all the way
 
I think it would be fitting for Ryan Newman to win the title, without winning a race during "The Chase". Everybody cried about the points system last year, and so nascar has come up with this circus side show. I like Dale Jr, but I don't want to see him win the thing simply so nascar has to answer to "Jr. Nation". They will tear down the grandstands. Hendrick has blown up eveything but Japan. What does that tell you? Well I hope I'm wrong, but my $ says they (24 & 48) don't suffer a single mechanical failure in the final ten races. They have done all their illegal r&d in the last month so they will be bulletproof and fast as hell from here to Homestead. Again, I hope I'm wrong because Hendrick and his clan of drivers disgusts me. Every title won under this points system should have an asterik next to it anyway. That being said, I hope it goes to a darkhorse. If not Newman, then Mayfield or Missouri's Jamie McMurray. JMO.
 
Gordon or Johnson maybe even little E ,who knows its anybodys race in top 10 ....who gets lady luck on their side? Who knows but its gonna be exciting to say none the lease!!!
 
Also, did anybody see the little kid at the truck race last night? He yells "Gentleman start your engines and gitt'r done!" Whaaaaaaaaaaat?
 
I agree with Aaron, wouldn't it be perfect if a driver who never won a race won the title under this system? Couldn't ask for anythng better, although I am not a Newman fan at all. Fact is, I am not a fan of anything NASCAR really, too much stupidity, changing rules, now this silly fake "playoff" points thing. It wasn't broke, so what are they trying to fix? My personal choice is Stewart to win it. But then again, I always like seeing Mr Personality stick it to the corporate mouthpieces.:D :D
 
Although I always root for #18 (and am not a fan of this system) personaly I'd like to see Martin get it & it seems He's really giving it his all.
