The stars and cars of the O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series will take on the challenge of one of the Midwest’s “raciest” tracks, Spoon River Speedway, when the series resumes action on Saturday, June 9th. The Midwest’s best sprint car racers will vie for the $2,000 feature win at the lightening-fast, 3/8th mile high-banked track, located in the historical heart of Illinois sprint car racing.

This will be the first opportunity this season for area fans to see big-time, wheel-to-wheel, fast-paced action featuring the most competitive and extreme type of motorsports in America, winged 410 sprint car racing “All-Star style”. Local favorites Jim Moughan, Jr., Robbie Standridge and Jeremy Standridge, along with Missouri stars Jerrod Hull, Tim Montgomery, and Joey Montgomery are scheduled to battle, along with many local and regional “winged warriors” who are looking to notch a feature win at a track that is one of the nation’s most exiting venues for sprint car racing.

Grandstand admission is only $15 for this can’t-miss sprint car extravaganza, with pit passes at $30. In addition to the MASS 410 winged sprint cars, the track will race its weekly divisions of late models, modified, hornets and trucks. MASS time trials will start at 6:30 with racing at 7:00 pm.

Spoon River Speedway is located near Canton, IL., just off Route 24, seven miles west of Banner on Speedway Road.
