Atlanta, GA - Malden Speedway in Malden, MO will host the O'Reilly USCS
(www.uscsracing.com) Mid-South Thunder Tour sprint car season opener next weekend on Saturday, March 24th . The event will pay $2000 to win and it is possible for one driver to win $2200 by winning the Lucas Oil Power Dash, heat race and A-feature.
The sprint car event which was originally scheduled to occur six days later, is now part of Malden Speedway's March 23rd-24th, 1st annual "Bootheel 200"
event. Entries are expected from at least six states for the first of 30 nights of O'Reilly Mid-South Thunder events.
The O'Reilly USCS sprint cars will run theor complete program during Saturday's portion of the racing in the two day event that will feature lots of side by side racing over the two days in seven divisions including the O'Reilly USCS sprint cars, USCS Open Wheel Modifieds, Malden's Crate Late Models, Hobby Stock, Street Stock, Mini Stock and E-MOD classes.
The O'Reilly USCS drivers and teams will also have a pre-season practice at Malden Speedway on Friday night, March 23rd. The practice session is scheduled to make time available for the sprint car drivers three times during the Friday evening pole-qualifying rounds for the other six divisions.
