Over 100 late models are at Volusia for the final WoO Late Model event at Volusia.

Ken Schrader set fast time, however the top 6 in WoO points did not have to qualify.

The six cars that didn't have to qualify are:

115-Bart Hartman
109-Dale McDowell
107-Steve Francis
106-Scott Bloomquist
100-Dan Schlieper
100-Rick Eckert

Korte is there...

Those top 6 were locked into the dash as the top 6 in WoO Points were locked in for the WoO Finale.

Schlieper was not locked in, it was Babb instead of Schlieper. The other 5 are correct.

Korte didnt make the feature, not 100% sure but i dont think he made a feature all week!

From what I seen Wellen, there was plenty of good cars that didn't make any of the shows!!!!!!!

yes...........there was plenty of good guys that did horrible.....i couldnt believe half of them

Terry English had some good runs once they finally got the cars unloaded, I wonder if he will run the WoO series now ?

WOW!!!!

I have never knew Randy Korte to stink any place up unless he's lost a motor. He can stink up the track I go to anytime... And his track records for fast times can stink up the track also. And him going to see a sick child in the hosp this summer who finds Randy a hero stinks also. And Randy taking this family with them to a race or two on the road stinks also! D A M N Korte you stink for all the right reasons. :D Wish you better luck and show this STINKER FAN what you are really about. ;)

did i say any of that?.........i didnt think so. yes randy korte is a nice and a good guy........................off the track. or if he is at a big show, but you get him around a local track and he drives like a *****, he dont pull none of that crap w/ the big boys b/c he knows they will put him where he belongs. but he always dogs the little local guys.........most of them, not all but most. and yes i do agree that he is a nice guy no doubt off the track. im sorry, ive just seen him pull too much crap in my life.

Korte is one of the most exciting drivers you'll ever see on the track. By travelling with the big boys, he has stepped up his program quite a few notches. As a by-product of touring the country with the best, he has had to become very aggressive. You don't beat guys like Bloomquist, Eckert, etc. without being on top of your game. So when he races around home, his intensity (or his competitor's lack of) is amplified. Kevin Gundaker was the same way after travelling the country with the best in the business from 20 years ago. Likewise, Ed Dixon is always on his game. Other than those 3 drivers, there are very few from this area who are capable of being "in the zone" to the extent it takes to compete on a national level. So don't fault Korte for his driving style- he's one of the few from the immediate St louis area who are worth buying a ticket to see.

KORTE BECOME VERY AGRESSIVE WHAT ARE YOU A NEWBY IF YOU NOTICED MOST OFTHE GOOD ONES ARE NOT AGRESSIVE JUST METHODICAL

IM SICK OF ALWAYS HEARING PEOPLE TURINING A THREAD INTO A KORTE BASHING OR MELVIN BASHING THREAD. I ALSO DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY A DRIVER OF RANDY'S TALENT NEEDS TO RUN OVER THE LOCAL GUYS WHEN HE RUNS A TRACK WHERE HE HAS CHAMPIONSHIPS AND MANY FEATURE WINS, AFTER ALL IF HE IS ONE OF THE BEST DRIVERS IN THE AREA(WHICH I FEEL HE IS) HE SOULD BE ABLE TO OUT DRIVE THEM INSTEAD OF FORCING A PASS WHICH CAUSES A CRASH. IM SURE SOMEONE HAS AN ANSWER BUT IM NOT INTERESTED IN HEARING ABOUT IT. I HAVE SEEN THIS BY SEVERAL BIG NAME DRIVERS NOT JUST KORTE, GOOD LUCK TO KORTE AND CREW AND IM SURE HE WILL HAVE ANOTHER GREAT SEASON.

yes i agree, you have to be agressive to race them guys, heck, you have to be agressive racing anyone or anything otherwise you wont win. but when a local guy is beating you dont take him out to win. thats kind of crappy. or if you know they are coming, dont block the whole track up. i could understand in a big money race to do that stuff on the last couple of laps, but not for a $1000 to win weekly show. just the way i see it. ive seen him do both and that is not good racing to me.

Tell me something wellen. If you had the lead, and someone faster is coming up on you, you on the bottom and he's on top. What would you do, stay low or go to the top and slow that guy down and possibly win the race? Ya Korte is aggressive, but I'd probably block to win a race to, it don't matter what the pay is. I have seen Korte take guys out before, but it is not every time he is on the track and he doesn't need to do it to win when I see him. He's out in front most of the time.

your driver must not be very good that why your bashen a driver that can win if i rember randy been taken more then once last year in a coule big shows last year. go randy

all i simply said is korte stunk up the joint. that is my figure of speach. i would say that about my favorite drivers if they did too. heck, i have. i wasnt trying to bash on him . i mean korte is not my favorite or anything its just the way i put it.......like i said, i would say that about anyone, its just how i say they didnt do good..........example.......maybe missed the setup.........got tangled w/ another car..........who knows could be anything. but that is what i meant. didnt mean to start all of this chaos.
