Paducah International Raceway will host the 2009 Season Championships and crown their Track Champions on Friday October 2nd. The Mid South Pullers Association will crown their Champions on Saturday October 3rd. This will be the first time the Mid South Pullers Association has pulled at PIR and we are very excited that they are coming to Paducah International Raceway.
Friday Night Paducah International Raceway will have the Northern All-Star Late Model Series running for $2,000 to win. The UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pro Late Models (crates), and the 4 Cylinder Warriors all taking to the high banks of PIR. The Late Models division has Kevin Cole from Benton, IL, in the #1 slot being followed by Paducah, Ky. resident Jeff Walston. The UMP Modifieds have PIR’S 2008 Track Champion Todd Miller from Paducah, Ky. out in the lead spot followed by Hazel, Ky. resident Justin Houston. Defending 2008 UMP National and PIR Track Champion Tait Davenport is leading Benton, Ky. resident Cary King in the UMP Pro Late Model class. The UMP Street Stocks division has J R Mason from Mayfield, Ky. leading over Princeton, Indiana resident Stacy Tretter. Jake Mayo from Paducah, Ky. has a very slim lead over Hunter Lyles from Calvert City, Ky. in the 4 Cylinder Warrior class.

The point title chase has tightened up with the MSPA in the 2 WD Truck class Randy Groves driving White Lighting is leading the way over Mark Carter driving Lone Wolf. The 6000 Super Stocks has Bob Barbee in Stormy leading the way over Kenneth Hale driving, Another Nite Trouble. In the 8000 Super Stock class Kenneth Hale is leading the way driving Another Nite Trouble. Hale is leading Larry Gorham and Monica Shaw who drive Beauty & the Beast. In the Super Farm Class, Darrin Hunt piloting Dreamin Too is leading Clay/Mark Wells, Dennie Brown who all Pilot the Green Reaper. Bill Thalmann who drives The Heats On is leading Ned Thalmann and his Bumble Bee machine in the Light Modified class.
