PADUCAH, KY - The Paducah International Raceway will be holding an open practice session this Sunday afternoon March 21, starting at 1:00 p.m. Any and all race cars from all divisions are invited, including sprint cars.
This practice session will give winged sprint car drivers the chance to get familiar with the Paducah oval in preparation for the season opener for the All Star Circuit of Champions sprint cars on Friday night April 2. Since the All Stars have not visited the oval since 1981, drivers will have the opportunity to get the bugs out of their machines and turn some laps on the 3/8 mile high banked oval.
The speedway is located outside Paducah, take I-24 East to exit 11, Go south on Husband Road 1/8 mile to Lydon Road, go left on Lydon Road 1 mile to stop sign, turn right on Oaks Road - go 1 mile to Shemwell Lane to the track (across from Farrington Airport).
