(Warrensburg) Another season of spectacular racing will kick off on Saturday, April 29th with the KOKO AM1450 Radio and Sunoco Fuels race night at Central Missouri Speedway. New programs and sponsorships will be the attraction each and every week along with the Mighty Modifieds, Limited Late Models, B-Modifieds, 305 Sprint Cars and Street Stocks. Each class will compete for additional money including the recently announced Contingency Connection awards from sponsors across the nation.
At intermission, officials will honor the 2005 Top 10 drivers in the Mighty Modifieds, Limited Late Models, 305 Sprints and Street Stock divisions with special trophy presentations and additional awards for the top 5 in each class.
2005 Track Champions include Mighty Modified - Gary Blackburn, Fulton; Limited Late Model – David Gemes, Warsaw; 305 Sprint – Michael Brown – Kingsville; and Street Stock – Wayne Harper - Warrensburg.
A new program has been added for the kids this year. They can join the CMS Jr Race Fan Club and have a chance to earn free admission tickets and concessions for future races. All kids will receive a bag of goodies just for signing up at the track.
Be sure to join us each and every week for some family fun and see your favorite drivers compete at Central Missouri Speedway. We are located just 4 miles North of 50 Hwy on Hwy 13. CMS … where you will see the most exciting dirt short-track racing action around!
Gates Open at 5:00pm with the Blue Grass Band Urban Drawl playing until Hot laps start at 7:00pm and Races at 7:30pm.
