Payout for the sportsman at CoC.....

Ok now i run Belleville every friday because it is close to home and i like the track. We race for a weekly purse of $200 to win. I can't complain about the payout based on me liking the track and being so close to home. BUT......They have the payout for the CoC race posted on there website www.belleclairspeedway.com. They have decided to raise the payout a whole $15.00. You gotta be kidding me   .....now that is really pathetic. Why even raise the payout then. $15.00 is nothing. Maybe it is just me that thinks this but sorry if i think it is rediculous. Some of you may say well at least they raised it some and others may agree with me that we deserve more than this. Voice you opinions on this and don't rip on me complaining about it because i will still be there. I just simply wanted to voice my opinion on this and see what other peoples opinions were.

Allied has outdated sportsman rules with an outdated payscale. Hopefully, things will change by the 2005 season. They did do a survey about 2-3 weeks ago....I just hope everyone was realistic to what is going on around them at other tracks. Honestly, it would be nice to be able to race wherever you wanted even though you drive a sportsman.
We want to be able to race at Belleville next year...but Allied's rules need some updating,

I looked at that, they added more than $15. The added money to every spot i think. I am sure an Allied guy will come on here and blast you for this, but It looks like they added $100 or $150 to the sportsman 'purse'. i dunno

Hey Jimmy i am not looking at the whole field. I am looking at the positions. When say Pevely pays $250 to win on a normal show and payed out $400 to win a couple of weeks ago at the big show. Now that is a pay increase. I won my heat, the dash and 4th in the feature and still made $265.00 that night. They even payed for the heats. Nothing like finishing 4th and still making more ($225 for just the feature) that you would to win at Belleville. I am not in a uproar as i expected some people to have different opinions. I am just simply stating my opinion on all this and thats it. Maybe if this is talked about enough they could possibly see that our payout ****s and possibly up the payout alittle more for 2005. I will give them credit in one case though. There payout is great through the field. It goes down in smaller incrimates than almost all other tracks in the area. I mean it is $200 to win at belleville and still $100 for 5th place. Thats pretty decent in my eyes. Well hopefully this rain friday will go north and we will be able to get the show in. Good luck this weekend Jimmy where ever you go.

I agree with you Tom. I was thinking it was going to be at least $300 to win and then maybe $15-$20 extra down the line. I guess they figure Belleville won't draw as many cars as Pevely.

"Updating" rules costs the racers who are already there alot of money. Heck some people are still mad about the end of the Allied modified era. They have great car counts they'd have to be insane to change their rules. Also remember that it costs quite a bit more over time to run at Pevely than Belleville. I think that per real cost of running there Belleville pays the best in the area. If they had a concrete wall there it would be that much more conclusive.

you fellas need to ease up a bit! Stan is new to running the big race show and does not understand the potiential! the purse for this show is about 5 to 6 thousand more than a reg. night! it has the potiential to be a good money maker or a big loser! did he miss the boat here? yea i think so also ! but consider now he will run this show sunday aka fathers day! and i think it loses its potiential to be a money maker!
people are always blinded by what it pays to win! how much it drops is the most important thing to look at in the weekly show! the total purse # is also important! i know in some cases around here its $400 to win verse $250 but the total purse is less where its $400 to win than the other is at $250. at most of the places that are paying better to win most need to realize your paying $25 pitpasses verses $20 and at some places the fan pays $12 as opposed to $10! some places pay tow money even if you dont make the show others dont!

so what is really best! looks like alot of smoke and mirrors out there!

Yeah the CoC show will be run sunday. And yeah Don like i said i agree the payout at belleville is alot better than most throughout the field unlike a lot of other places. But the money to win needs to be looked at by stan in the future. I know the money doesn't come from allied. It comes out of stans pocket so he is the man that makes the call. No need to rip on Allied cause they have no control over what he wants to pay.
