Ponderosa Speedway Has Indiana Late Model Series Again in Action on June 4

Junction City, KY-May 30, 2010- Ponderosa Speedway track promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will again present racing action this Friday June 4 as the Indiana Late Model Series makes its second of four appearances at “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” on Friday June 4 as three of the four weekly divisions will be in action at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval.
On Friday June 4, the Pro Late Models of the Indiana Late Model Series will headline the racing program with a full docket of practice, time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mainsin a 30 lap, $1,000 to win main event. Also on the June 4 racing card will be the Clayton Homes UMP Modifieds in a 20 lap, $600 to win main event and the D&D Pallet Recyclers UMP Sportsman in a 15 lap, $300 to win main event. The Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models will have this particular Friday evening June 4 off.
Activities for this June 4 event at Ponderosa Speedway will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m., with the grandstand area open at 5:00 p.m. A mandatory drivers meeting takes place at 7:00 p.m., practice for 7:15 p.m. Time trials will begin at 7:30 p.m., with racing taking the green flag at 8:30 p.m. Ticket prices in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12, and children under age 6 are free. A pit pass will be $30.
Ponderosa Speedway last raced on May 28 and feature event winners included Todd Coffman of Junction City, KY in Bob Allen Motor Mall Pro Late Models, Justin Rattliff of Campbellsville, KY in Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models, and Jason Wheatley of Loretto, KY in Clayton Homes UMP Modifieds, while D&D Pallet Recyclers UMP Sportsman were off.

Ponderosa Speedway is located just off of 365 Phillips Lane on the Boyle/Lincoln County border, outside of Junction City, KY, just minutes from Danville, KY. Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz are the track promoters and present dirt track sports entertainment on Friday evenings from April through early October.
