Millstadt, IL – The POWRi National Midget and 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint Series presented by Speedway Motors will be at Shepp’s Speedway in Alexander, IL on Friday, May 28th for its first ever visit to the ¼ mile dirt oval. This race will be combined with the Saturday and Sunday May 29th & 30th Race 4 Life at Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville IL.
The 5th annual Race 4 Life will be held at Belle-Clair Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, May 29th & 30th with a rain date on Monday, May 31st. On Saturday the 600cc Outlaw Micros will run double heat qualifiers as the Midgets sit idle. On Sunday they will be joined with National Midgets for a full night of Racing.
2007 POWRi Midget Champ Brad Loyet, takes the early lead in the series followed closely by 2-time and defending champ Brad Kuhn. Zach Daum, Nick Knepper and Austin Brown round out the top five following the Hut 100 event.
