POWRi Series visits Macon & Fayette County Speedway on Tuesday & Wednesday!

Millstadt, IL – The POWRi National Midgets and the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprints thunder into Macon Speedway Tuesday night June 15th for “Tony Stewart Night” at the 1/5th mile bull-ring. Stewart, along with NASCAR stars Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace will be on hand with Stewart set to compete with the POWRi midgets and Schrader and Wallace battling in the modifieds. Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, MO holds a slim 30 point lead over Brad Kuhn in the National Midget series while Jeremy Camp of Blue Mound, IL retakes the lead over Andrew Felker in the Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint division.

Wednesday June 16th the POWRi series makes its first ever appearance at the Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, IL. The POWRi National Midgets and the Speedway Motor 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprints will do battle on the ¼ mile fairground dirt oval. The POWRi 600cc Micro Sprints will then head back to Macon Speedway for the two day Micro Sprint Nationals. Open practice will begin on Thursday June 17th and racing on Friday the 18th with the finals on Saturday the 19th and a $5,000 payday to the winner of Saturday nights event.
