Proctor steals the show as he wins after a short break at Clarksville!

Chuck Proctor (27) sets fast time during qualifying with the only 12-sec run of the night, setting a time of 12.808. He then came out for the Quick Six Dash and ran away from the field. Then after four attempts at restart during the feature that had no effect on his speed or his driving ability to weave through lapped traffic to take the victory home. The current points leader Gary Frost (F14) followed close behind only to finish in the second spot. Last weeks winner, Mike Chandler (51) had to settle for third, with Tony Albright (1) fourth and Perry McClain (57) finished out the top five.

In Open wheel action Miller and Zimmerman fought a good battle from green to checkered but Charles Zimmerman (93) came out on top and Clayton Miller (77) coming in second. David Flowers (99) brought home third and Mike Neighbors (711N) forth and Mike Sweeney (25S) finished fifth.

Don Young (41) got the big “W” in Pro Street action. The 64 of Matt Potter came in second, with Larry Hamm (93) finishing third. Curt Cherry (11x) crossed the line in fourth and 24 of Henry Gibbs rounded out the top five.

Street Stock action saw a double feature night. The first feature was won by Dorris McCord (45) followed by the 87 of Dale Phillips. The 34 of Jeff Joiner finished up in third. Ronnie Hedgepath (H55) top his progression at fourth, and Buster Smith (38X) finished up the top five. The second feature saw the (9) of Don Everett take home the top spot. The 117 of Roy Brewington brought up a close second. Timmy Wilson (29) came home in third, Matt Musser (8) fourth and Michael Byard (68) topped out at the five spot.

Mini Mod action saw the familiar Floyd Clinard, Jr (05) take home another victory. Don Donegan (54) finished up at second and Dale McCord (31) came home third. Ronnie Richardson (15) finished up fourth and Gary Johnson (2) finished up the top five.

The end of another exciting weekend of racing at the Clarksville Speedway Complex. Every weekend we have all sorts of racing action to watch and enjoy for the whole family.
