Queen's Royale - October 4, 2008 @ S.F.C.R.

ok well the outlaw show at pevely is 30 bucks, sorry. the nascar night is 25 bucks, thats what i was thinking of. and the track at farmington has not been that great, so please if you're going to knock me on where i stand and "not supporting my local track" which i do, i am there every night, i only missed one night this year and that was the nascar night they had cause i was out of town. but it could be worse, we could not have a track in our backyard at all. plus it is getting harder and harder to get sprint cars ANYWHERE cause they're pricey to run and there just isnt many tracks that run 410's anymore...if any sprints.

There was no intention to knock you or anyone else. Judging by the tracks i've attended and by what the drivers tell me,we have had a good track. But that's just my opinion.Your opinion is just as important as anyone's.You posted about how bad the racing has been and you may not come to the Royal.I was just encouraging you to come.My luck would be i'd miss it and have to hear my friends talk about it all winter.

If you haven't been pleased with the racing at Farmington this year (in all classes) then you'd not be pleased anywhere. I made sprint shows at several other tracks around and in my opinion Farmington's weekly show was consistantly the best show. If a bottom, middle and top groove in the sprint A main is not good racing then what is? The track surface has been great all year. The fastest cars work their way through the heats and dash to start up front. Where do you think the winner would come from? The top 10 - 12 guys at Farmington are pretty much equal. Not likely you'll see some guy charge from 20th to win. After about lap 3 they run 2 - 3 wide in traffiic. I'd say it's pretty darn good racing. Worley certainly dominated but there was 7 - 8 other guys that won A mains.
I perfer their show over any of the sactioned events I attended this year.

Royale entries

I talked to Corey today. He is optimistic about the race.He told me some racers who have called. But there aint no way he will have someone put them on here.Half of them more than likely won't show.He was very upbeat about next year also. The crowds were the biggest since he's had the track. He didn't tell me that .It was just obvious.
I hope we have 2 more great nights.I hope i'm wrong, but by their post it sounds like some want the track to fail.If so SHAME ON YOU !!!
