Question about Allied memberships tonight

I had a couple of friends who will not be able to attend the meeting tonight but they gave me their money to buy their memberships. As long as I had their names, addresses, and phone numbers, can I do this at the meeting tonight?? Thanks.

I wasn't sure if they had to be present to sign something?? Does anyone else know for sure? I figured since they take them by mail also that a signature wasn't required.
