"but we the drivers and/or car owers have no say"

EXACTLY! The quickest way to screw up the rules is to have drivers and owners voting on them. There are examples all the way from Allied to CART. It's like putting the mice in charge of the cheese. NASCAR, MLB, NFL, etc give you the rules they have decided is fair for all parties. If you like them, fine- if not, you can go somewhere else.

Mr. Slover, you've stirred up quite the hornet's nest over the last couple of years. Instead of complaining that you don't get to vote on the rules, you need to count your blessings that you have been given a second chance at the track (if that's actually true).

rumor is Charlie Depew will b running godfrey next year along with highland and brownstown.i'm not sure if this is true r not so if it isn't don't jump all ova me.this is just wut i heard

That's a new one. Since there isn't any official information coming out of the Godfrey camp, lets give this some thought. If he runs all three tracks, would he move one of them to Sundays? Godfrey seemed to have good car counts when they did Sundays last year, but I understand there was some problems with the mayor's office. Let's consider the total time used during the year. 5 hours x approximately 30 shows = 150 hours of racing. The calendar year contains 8544 hours, with 8394 of those not hosting the noise of our evil race cars. Total race time is just a fraction of a percentage point greater than 2% of total time per year. If noise is the problem, maybe mufflers would be an answer. Doesn't Highland require them?

yes highland does require mufflers.i've also heard that godfrey may be moved to sundays.once again i'm not for sure how accurate this information is but it is better then nothing.
