Question regarding Ken Schrader

I just want to throw this out there to see what everyone thinks. I've watched Schrader race his late model at Pevely many times, and I was wondering does anyone think he holds back some or is he going all out to win? I know he is a great competitor in all aspects of racing, but sometimes it seems that he's holding back some, or maybe his car just isn't right that particular night. Then there are times when he's really fast!! Maybe it's just my imagination. I know one thing, he's awful smooth with his late model at Pevely on the high side.

The only time that I have seen him hold back at I-55 was during the NASCAR night of stars during the modified race in 2002. When Bill Elliot got a pretty good lead on him I noticed he started running harder and even up along side him but would never make the pass.

THIS IS KNOWN AS RACING!! THE GOOD PART AND THE BAD PART!!

I don't think Kenny holds back. But, I think he is careful and does not usually drive real agressive. I think he wants to make sure he doesn't tear up anyone else. He knows they are weekend racers and don't have the funds he does.

Although one night at the MS race in Highland he had to race the consi to make the race, late in the race he was in a tangle and was sent back as he should have been. I swear he passed like 3-4 cars from turn 3 to the finish.

Man that was cool. You could tell he did not want a promotional provisional. He was flying after that caution.

I remember that night, too. He was on the high-side doing his best Dixon impression... there was hardly any cushion left, but he was basically using the wall when he needed it. There wasn't much left on the right rear of the car.
