It's Season Championship Night at Quincy Raceways with our final night of points racing on tap. Kickstart Late Models, Miller Lite Modifieds, Summy Tire Sportmods, Powder Coat Plus Stock Cars and IMCA Sport Compacts on tap.
This is the last opportunity to get UMP points this side of Eldora and the phone is ringing with points chasers planning to make a visit. We should have a great field of cars on hand.
Adult admission $12, Seniors $9, Ages 11-16 $5, Kids 10 and under Free.
Grandstands open at 4:00, Hot laps 5:20, Racing at 6:00.
BTW, we are aware that there's roughly a 50% chance of some light showers passing through mid afternoon. But there's only a 10% chance of there being more than 1/10th of an inch of rain this afternoon, which means:
1. There's a 50% chance we don't see any rain at all.
2. There's a 90% chance that we get less than 1/10th of an inch of rain sometime mid-afternoon.
3. There's a 100% chance that unless something in the above forecast should change significantly, we will be racing tonight at Quincy Raceways. We've done this drill a time or two this season.
Race time forecast is 76 degrees with a 9mph NNW winds (blowing away from grandstand). Translation = Beautiful.
If you need updates if you see weather on us this afternoon, you can call our Hotline at 217-224-4100. As long as the message says "we are racing" that's what we are doing. We change it within 1 min of any change in plans. Or you can call or text (much prefer text) Kenny at 217-371-3653. Again... we plan to race tonight.
