(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) R.J. Conley and his #71c team invaded the venerable Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on August 10-12 for the 35th Annual 'North/South 100,' which was once again sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The three-day extended weekend in the Commonwealth of Kentucky kicked off on Thursday night with the 'North/South Shootout,' which boasted a $10,000 top prize and drew a stout 67 car field. R.J. knocked down the eleventh quickest time in Group B during qualifying prior to grabbing the third and final transfer spot through his stacked heat race. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace eventually wound up nineteenth in the final finishing order of the 50-lap feature event that ran caution-free for the entire distance.

On Friday evening, the 'North/South 100' officially got underway with a double set of qualifying heat races at the Cincinnati-area facility. R.J. ran third in his first heat race of the night and ninth in his final prelim. He then finished tenth in his B-Main on Saturday, which unfortunately did not transfer him into the $50,000 to win 'North/South 100,' which was won by Tim McCreadie. Complete results from the crown jewel extravaganza can be accessed by clicking on www.lucasdirt.com.

Next up for Conley Motorsports, Inc. (CMI) will be a pair of unsanctioned specials back in their home state of Ohio on August 18-19. On Friday night at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, brothers Rod and R.J. Conley will tackle the 11th edition of the 'Ike Moler Memorial' and vie for the $3,500 winners check. At Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday evening, Delmas Conley will join his sons Rod and R.J. in competing for the $5,000 payday in the 23rd Annual 'Fred Dillow Memorial.' More information on these two events can be obtained by viewing www.molerracewaypark.com and www.portsraceway.com.
