(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO) Following a rare weekend off for all four Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers, things heated back up on August 15-16 with a pair of special events in southern Ohio. On Friday night at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, Rod Conley and J.T. Conley competed in the annual 'Ike Moler Memorial,' which boasted a $3,000 payday. Rod won his heat race in preliminary action, but a flat tire early in the 50-lapper caused him to drop to fifteenth in the final finishing order. J.T. ran third in his heat race prior to picking off seven competitors during the headliner en route to a steady eighth place performance.

All four Conley's then made their way to Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio on Saturday evening for the 20th edition of the 'Fred Dillow Memorial.' R.J. Conley qualified well, ran third in the dash, and later grabbed the lead from polesitter Steve Casebolt on the eleventh circuit. The Wheelersburg, Ohio ace then dominated the remainder of the race to score the $5,000 top prize for his fifth event title over Jackie Boggs, Steve Casebolt, Ben Adkins, and Delmas Conley!

Delmas nabbed the top five effort after winning his heat race and starting seventh on the grid in the feature. Rod ran second in his heat race at PRP and later moved past five competitors during the 'Fred Dillow Memorial' on his way to a strong sixth place outing. Unfortunately, J.T. was not able to break into the main event starting grid after digging himself too deep of a hole during qualifying. Full results from both Moler and Portsmouth can be accessed online at www.dirtondirt.com.

This upcoming weekend (August 22-23) will see the stable of Conley drivers competing at two different venues in Kentucky and Ohio. Rod and R.J. are scheduled to venture to Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky on Friday night, August 22 for the 11th Annual 'John Bradshaw Memorial.' The Ultimate Super Late Model Series special will pay $10,001 to the winner. Delmas, Rod, and J.T. are then all slated to unload their respective #71 Rocket machines on Saturday evening, August 23 for a $2,000 to win regular weekly program at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. Additional information on these races can be viewed online at www.ponderosaspeedway.net and www.portsraceway.com.
