Racing Optics and NARA Announce Sponsorship Package for 2004 Season

LEXINGTON, KY--Racing Optics, San Clemente, CA and NARA Officials are pleased to announce Racing Optics continued sponsorship package with the O'Reilly’s NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series and plans to add the new NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Open Wheel Modified Series to the sponsorship program for the 2004 racing season. At each sanctioned event of the O'Reilly’s NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series and NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Open Wheel Modified Series, Racing Optics will award the fastest qualifier of these events a box of Racing Optics Laminated Tearoffs. The value of each award is $134.75.

Racing Optics also is involved with the NASCAR Nextel Cup, NASCAR Busch Series and the NASCAR Sears Craftsman Truck Series are the same company that produces the tearaway windshield/Stack 4 laminated tearoffs that the crews pull off on pitstops during these NASCAR events. Crown Spray Power and North American Racing Association (NARA) Announce Sponsorship for 2004 Season
LEXINGTON, KY--Crown Marketing, Cornerstone Multi-Media and North American Racing Association (NARA) Officials are pleased to announce that Crown Spray Power Multi-Purpose Cleaner will be a major sponsor during the 2004 season for the NARA DirtCars Series, O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series and NARA Battle of the Bluegrass Open Wheel Modified Series. Crown Spray Power will join Lucas Oil Products and O'Reilly Auto Parts as major sponsors for the North American Racing Association and ESPN2 telecasts this season. The first televised event will be the "Spring 50" at the Florence Speedway in Union, KY on Saturday Night, April 10. This will be the first race taped for broadcast.



"The NARA and the O'Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series is a great marketing tool for our Spray Power multi-purpose cleaners," said Crown Marketing President, Richard Woolums. Florence Speedway will play host on Friday Night, April 9 to the 2004 season debut of the O'Reilly NARA Battle of the Bluegrass DirtCar Series. The $3000 to win main event will be preceded by a full program for the BoB Late Models with time trials, heat races and consy events. BoB rules and format will be in effect for the Friday night event. In the two previous visits to the track in 2003 the series saw two Hoosier State drivers take home the money with Scott James of Lawrenceburg, IN winning the "Ralph Latham Memorial Race" and Scottsburg, IN's Mike Jewell taking the season finale in October by winning the "Fall 50".



On Saturday Night, April 10 the cameras of ESPN2 will be at the Florence Speedway as the North American Racing Association (NARA) DirtCars makes its debut at Florence Speedway for the annual "Spring 50". There will be a complete race program for the NARA Late Models with time trials, heat races, consy events and the 50 lap feature which will pay $10,000 to win. The event will be taped for telecast on ESPN2 at a date to be announced.



Both nights at Florence Speedway, the Late Models will feature NARA procedure that include double file restarts in the A-main event.
