"Dale Earnhardt Jr. Poster Night" Rescheduled

Granite City, IL – Scattered rain storms and dangerous lightning forced cancellation of the August 28 Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers Racing Series at Tri-City Speedway. The cancellation moves "Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Poster Night" to Saturday, Sept. 4, with the first 500 adults with a paid admission to Saturday's Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers Racing Series receiving a free Dale Earnhardt, Jr. poster.
Justin Anderson will be shooting for his fifth Dodge Ironman Late Model win following his August 21 whisker-close finish over point leader Tom Krankel. Bert Jacoby will try to follow up on his convincing Mountain Dew Sportsman win of two weeks ago and increase his razor-thin margin in the point standings over Steve Maisel.
Mark Pflueger searches for his second Domino's Street Stock win of the season in an attempt to stretch out his two point lead over David Parker and 10 point margin over Andy Beavers. Tommie Seets, Jr., fresh off his first career Budweiser Modified victory, looks to repeat over point leader Bobby Martintoni.
Spectator gates for "Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Poster Night" open at 6 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. Adults $10.00, Students (11-17) $5.00 and Children 10 and under $2.00 Parking is always FREE. Tri-City Speedway is located one-half mile south of I-270 on Illinois Route 203 south (exit 4), just 10 minutes north of downtown St. Louis.
