(Warrensburg, MO) Persistent rains washed away the Friday-night race program at Warrensburg's own Central Missouri Speedway (CMS); however, the Labor Day weekend specials will still take place. The revised weekend schedule now has the $1,500-to-win ULMA late model 25-lap main event and night one qualifying for modifieds taking place on Saturday, September 5th. The schedule change throws a whole new loop on who will show up for the big money this weekend in both divisions. On Sunday September 6th, the modifieds return for their night two action along with the b-modifieds and street stocks. Sunday night's grand finale features a $3,000-to-win modified feature event with 40 big laps for the modifieds!
Normal start times will apply on both Saturday and Sunday evening with pit gates opening at 4:30, grandstands at 5, driver's meeting at 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing at 7:30. Both specials for the late models and modifieds will feature passing points in order to determine the lineups. Saturday, the modifieds will qualify for the inside row, Sunday the modifieds qualify for the outside starting row positions for the big finale later that night. Same night entries in all divisions are available. Race fans, it's time to get out from in front of your TV and computer screens and get your backsides in the seats at the races, live and up close at the 'Burg!

CMS – ‘Mighty’ Modifieds $3,000 to win special event. Also running B-Modifieds and Street Stocks. Saturday admission info: Adult general admission $20, Seniors 65+ $15, College Students & Military w/ID $15, Kids six to twelve $12, Kids five and under free. Pit passes $35.
CMS is located 3.5-miles north of Warrensburg, MO from the junction of Highways 50 and 13 in Warrensburg or from the Higginsville exit off of I-70, travel south on Highway 13 for approximately 14 miles.
