The Racing Association of Mini Stocks (RAMS) will open it's 2004 Points Series at the Montgomery County Speedway in New Florence, Mo. on Saturday night.

"We are absolutely thrilled to open our points season at Montgomery County," said RAMS President Jeff Mills. "MCS Promoter Mel Kinnaird has not only made our class a regular feature at his track they have really given us the red carpet treatment. Believe me, it's greatly appreciated by all of us."
This is the third season for the RAMS Points Series. This year tracks participating in the special series are the St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, the Fredericktown Raceway in Fredericktown, the Auto Tire & Parts/NAPA Racepark in Benton and the Montgomery County Speedway. Last year Rick Ruch of Perryville was crowned the champion of the RAMS Points Series.

Following the season-opening race at Montgomery County, the RAMS will travel to the Fredericktown Raceway for a special Saturday night show on April 17th before hitting the road to Benton and Auto Tire & Parts/NAPA Racepark on April 24th.
The RAMS will hold their regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m., Sunday, April 18th at Bailey's Pub & Grill in Farmington. All interested persons are urged to attend and participate.
