Richmond Raceway Returns to Action with KDRA Super Stock Nationals on Saturday September 19

Richmond, KY-September 8, 2015- Richmond Raceway co-promoters Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz will have the 3/10 mile red clay oval known as “The Beast of the East” closed on Saturday September 12, but racing action will return on Saturday September 19 as the track will present the KDRA Super Stock Nationals sanctioned by the American Dirt Allstars paying $2,000 to win and the Firecracker 30 $1,500 to win event for the REVELution Race Cars Pro Late Models (which was originally scheduled on July 4, but was postponed due to inclement weather), along with all other divisions in action.


Richmond Raceway will be closed on Saturday September 12 for the World 100 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH, but will return to action with the American Dirt Allstars sanctioned KDRA Super Stock Nationals and $1,500 to win Firecracker 30 Pro Late Model special on Saturday September 19, along with a full program in all other divisions.


Richmond Raceway will present the KDRA Super Stock Nationals on Saturday September 19 and the American Dirt Allstars sanctioned KDRA Super Stocks will race for $2,000 to win and the REVELution Race Cars Pro Late Models will race for $1,500 to win. Also on the Saturday September 19 racing card will be the Barry Turner of Century 21 Advantage Realty Super Late Models racing for $1,200 to win and Modifieds will be racing for $800 to win. Completing the racing program on Saturday September 19 will be the Four Cylinder division racing for $300 to win and the Warlock Race Cars Mini-Cup/Cyclones racing for $100 to win. All divisions in competition will utilize the practice/time trials format to determine heat race starting positions. RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions and must be used by the driver each time he/she is on the racing surface in their race car and transponder scoring is also used by the track. It is pertinent that all drivers be at the track and signed in by 5:45 p.m. to help insure the program starts in a timely manner.


Activities for the KDRA Super Stock Nationals at Richmond Raceway on Saturday September 19 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m., with the general admission area open at 4:30 p.m. Driver’s registration will close promptly at 5:45 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:00 p.m, with practice/time trial combo laps set to begin around 6:30 p.m., and the green flag for the first race will wave at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices and A-Main payouts for the KDRA Super Stock Nationals on Saturday September 19 will be announced in an upcoming press release over the weekend.
