(YORK, PENNSYLVANIA) "Scrub" Rick Eckert captured his fifth checkered flag of the season over the October 24-25 weekend at the legendary Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland! The annual running of the 'Octoberfest 350' took place at the 1/2-mile oval and a $10,000 winner's check was on the line. In preliminary action on Saturday, Rick grabbed the victory in his heat race to earn the coveted pole position for Sunday's 100-lap main event.

On a sun-drenched racetrack that provided little to no room for racing on Sunday, Rick led the final 86 circuits of the 'Octoberfest 350' feature event. The York, Pennsylvania native picked up the $10,000 payday by beating Jason Covert, Roy Deese, Jr., Gary Stuhler, and Vic Coffey to the finish line. "It was your typical daytime race at Hagerstown, but we put ourselves in position to be successful and win the race," exclaimed Eckert earlier in the week. "There wasn't a lot of passing going on out there, but that was a tough field of cars that we beat on Sunday. Hagerstown has some great weekly racing and it feels awesome to get back into victory lane there. Hopefully, the win will springboard us into a successful week to close out the World of Outlaws season at Lowe's."

The #24 team is slated to take the upcoming October 30-31 weekend off from Dirt Late Model competition prior to the huge World of Outlaws Late Model Series finale weekend at the Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The rain-postponed 'Topless Showdown' will take place at the Charlotte area venue on Wednesday, November 4, while the 3rd Annual 'World of Outlaws World Finals' will be held at Lowe's from November 5-7.

In all, a trio of $10,000 to win feature events will headline the season-ending WOOLMS spectacular. Rick comes into the 'World Finals' fifth in the latest version of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series points battle.
