Inside Line Promotions - EDMONTON, Alberta, Canada (Aug. 26, 2014) - Travis Rilat has a busy weekend lined up in Washington.
Rilat will return to Richard Saumure's No. 39c sprint car for three straight days of racing at Skagit Speedway in Alger this Thursday through Saturday.
"We're excited for the challenge," Rilat said. "We've won races together at Skagit in the past so hopefully everything goes well and we can park it in Victory Lane again."
The weekend begins on Thursday for a Summer Thunder Sprint Series event prior to the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series races on Friday and Saturday.
"There is no better test than racing with the World of Outlaws," Rilat said. "We haven't been able to compete with them very often this season, so I'm looking forward to the challenge this weekend."
Rilat is coming off a World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series doubleheader at Castrol Raceway last weekend for the Oil City Cup, where he qualified 13 [sup]th[/sup] both nights - only one spot out of the heat race inversion.
He advanced from fifth to fourth place in each heat race before finishing 11[sup]th[/sup] last Friday and 14[sup]th[/sup] on Saturday. Those marked his top-two results in only four races with the World of Outlaws this season.
