Rules Reminder For Oktober Racefest at Tri City Speedway Oct. 11th

Been getting quite a few phone calls with nearly the same questions.
I will cover a few of them.

NO NASCAR MEMBERSHIPS REQUIRED!!!!

Late Models:
UMP rules Steel Blocks only.

Modifieds:
Also UMP rules

Sportsmen:
Visible stock all steel motors.
No Bert or Brinn Transmissions.
Stub cars OK
3000# for everyone
500cfm Holley 2bbls only.
Racing gas only - NO Alcohol
Any tire up to and including E-Mods

Streetstock /Bombers:
They are following the 2003 Godfrey rules
Factory 2bbls on 2 bbl intakes only
No Holleys
Headers OK
8” wheels OK
RR beadlock OK
No Hoosiers

Hornets:
Any Tri City – Highland – I-55 cars allowed

Remember things start 1 hour earlier!

i was under the impression that the sportsman can run bert/brinn trannys,i wont be there with my car but there might be some brownstown cars with them that would want to race at TCS

Well,let em run with the latemodels then...no slam on the guys,but not too many sportsman run the berts/brinn trannies except for them.Its also geting kimda old tryin to cater to one track like the ones up north or b town!

I like the simple rules,easy to interpet,and if you car dont slide in one set then you move up and run the next group!Thats the way the shows use to be set up along time ago,and back then they had carcounts because of that reason.........jmo!
