running at tri-city

im looking at racing next year and crate is a class i have been looking at. im interested in modified also but i just cant afford a 25,000 engine to run up front. can anybody help me out with what they spend a night at tri city? obviously fuel in the rig and generator, entry fee $25, oil change in the car. id assume you guys run straight race gas? and how many gallons are you burning up a night? does a tire get wore out every night?

and is it possible to say buy a few year old chassis and run a 604 and be competitive? or are these motors getting tampered with and made illegal? ive been helping a street stock guy out all year and know all about the illegal motors in that class. but, is crate the same way?

just wanting to get some info from guys that run em.

Jmo!!$25,000 for a motor is just a little much...there is several guys who can win out there and $10,000 would do it...as for tires at tri city you are going to go throught them alot...the fuel would be around 10 gals!!! Jmo alot is on you and how much you want to spend lol the oil should be changed ever two races.. And finnaly every racer is cheating and if theres a will theres a way...
