Rusty Schlenk Headed for Clarksville!

(Jackson, Michigan) 2008 ALMS Series Champion, and perennial UMP frontrunner Rusty Schlenk, is headed South to the Annual Tennessee Tuckasee Toilet Bowl Classic, at Clarksville Speedway, in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The 2009 version of the TTBC will consist of two separate UMP Late Model Events. First, a $3000 to win UMP Late Model Feature Event, on Friday night, March 20, and then a $5000 to win UMP Late Model Feature Event, on Saturday night, March 21. "I've always liked Clarksville, and have had some pretty good runs there, so we decided to head South and try to pick up some early UMP points" stated the Young Throttle Stomper, en route to the Historic Tennessee Speed Plant."We know the competition will be tough, but that place fits my driving style, and we're confident we can run up front".
Rusty Schlenk Racing will once again be using CJ Rayburn Race Cars, and Kercher Racing Engines for the 2009 Season, a combination that powered him to the bulk of his 2008 success. "CJ has helped us a bunch throughout the years, and I'm really looking forward to helping him and all the Rayburn guys develop the new 4-bar car. Hopefully it will help us all in the slick. It will be a month or so before we get the new car finished, but I'm pretty sure when it's done, it will be a big help in helping us achieve our goal of someday winning a UMP National Championship".
The Toilet Bowl Festivities will get underway each day at 4:00, with hot laps and qualifying to follow shortly after. Tickets for Friday's event will be $15 for General Admission, Kids 6-10 $5, Children under 5 and seniors over 70 admitted Free. Pit pass will be $35. Saturday's tickets will be $20 General Admission, Kids 6-10 $5, Children under 5 and seniors over 70 admitted Free. Pit pass will be $40.
