Sand drag history

Bryan that is cool. Just amazing at what people used to race. Fairly crude but the same concept of what were doing now. Except safety wasnt much of an issue back then.
 
I thought it was interesting. I was born around that time so things of that era interest me anyway. I stumbled across a page he wrote on carburetor tuning one night and e-mailed him. When he found out what I did with the truck, he sent me this story.

He is a pretty sharp cookie with carbs and things. Whats kind of funny is; the guy is really a rocket scientist lol. I have known a few, but not really known any real ones lol. Now he writes tech articles and invents things.
