After review by World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series officials the finishing order of the rain shortened $10,000 to win “Missouri 50” at Lebanon I-44 Speedway in Lebanon,MO has been amended. An error concerning the finishing placement of Billy Moyer was amended crediting Moyer with an 18th place finish rather than the 10th place finish he was originally credited with.
Moyer was running 10th on lap 34 when he suffered a flat tire and headed pitside for a new tire. Moyer returned to the speedway after the pit stop when rain began to fall and after pacing the track for several laps the rain began to fall harder forcing officials to call the race complete at that point. At the point, Moyer was running in the 18th position and should have been placed in that position rather than the 10th place finish he was credited with.
With the amended finish Steve Francis now leads the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series Championship point standings heading into Friday and Saturday’s events at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo,ND by a scant 6 points over Moyer. Drivers originally placed behind Moyer will receive the correct points for the amended finishing order.
