(BRIGHT, INDIANA) Scott James Motorsports made a last minute decision to
attend the regular show at the Florence Speedway in Union, KY last Saturday
night. Scott piloted his Powell Motorsports / Baylor Trucking #83 Rocket /
Rhodes Monte Carlo to a fourth place finish in his heat race to earn an
eleventh place starting spot for the feature event. In the feature, Scott
started to make his move through the field and got up into the top three
before his left rear tire sealed up. Scott had to settle for a solid fourth
place finish.

"We learned a lot about the new Rocket car Saturday night," stated Scott on
Monday. "We were moving up through the field and we got past (Darrell)
Lanigan who finished second,, and our left rear sealed up on me. I think we
could have competed for the win before that happened. It was still a good
run for us and we learned some things that we can use this weekend out in
Nebraska and Iowa."

Scott will hit the World of Outlaw Late Model Series trail again this
weekend for the last time in this month. His Hoosier Tires will roll onto
the track on Friday night at the Eagle Raceway in Lincoln, NE and the Farley
Speedway in Farley, IA on Saturday. Both events will be sanctioned by the
WoO Late Model Series and will pay $10,000 to the winner. Scott is
currently fourteenth in the WoO point standings heading into this weekend's
pair of events. You can get the latest on these two events by visiting
