(BRIGHT, INDIANA) "The Silver Shark" Scott James left tonight to make the
long trek to Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, TX for a pair of World of
Outlaws Late Model Series events. There will be a practice session for the
drivers on Thursday night, with the opening $5,000 to win event on tap for
Friday. Saturday will feature a $12,000 to win WoO show. For more
information on this event, log onto www.worldofoutlawslatemodelseries.com.
Scott is the currently thirteenth in the WoO Late Model Series point
standings after seven events.

Scott is coming off a rough 'Spring 50' weekend at Florence Speedway in
Union, KY. He made the $5,000 to win Battle of the Bluegrass event on
Friday night by finishing third in his heat race. However, he brought out a
caution, retired to the infield, and settled for a 22nd place finish in the
'Spring 50 Tune-Up'. The Baylor Trucking / Powell Motorsports #83 BRC Lazer
G-2 Monte Carlo failed to make the 50-lap, $10,000 to win 'Spring 50' on
Saturday.

"That is about the way our whole season has been going," said Scott on
Tuesday. "We weren't real bad on Friday, I mean we made the show and there
were 81 cars there and a lot of them were pretty good. Then on Saturday, we
weren't good at all. That is how Atomic and Bulls Gap were earlier this
year, we would be good one night out of the weekend and be bad the other.
We need to get a little more consistent and hopefully that will start this
weekend in Texas."
