How many people would be interested in this class? I know they tried it a Fayette County this season but the people who was promoting it didn't do a very good job, to be honest I think they did a terrible job. We could make this work just like our Late Model class but would have to have enough people interested. Again if enough people are interested WE could make it work. So, who is interested?

Right now I'm just interested in getting the overall class started at Fredericktown. The last thing I want to see is a division in a rather small group to begin with in the late models. Our "B" mod group can run the 602 and in fact we are suggesting it.

Very good idea Millsey! Getting the crates mixed with the B-Mods is a great place to start. So there you go guys, you can run your crate Mod at Fredericktown with the B-Mods in 2007!!

Ive said this..for awhile..Godfrey had 30 b mods...showing up..every night..started with like..10. That class exploded. Yea...b mods..crate mods..running together...would really be a big hit. Just..some tracks..unfortunately..would possibly have to drop a class..to run them...thats the sad part..due to time restrictions. Im trying to get a mod..or late...to do something..for next year. Let us all know..what happens..thanks

I think it will be a while before you see a "crate mod" class, but allowing them to run with the B-mods is a good idea. I don't believe that there is a track around that can take a chance on starting a Crate only Mod class. However crates being allowed in the B-mod class will help tracks draw both.

Hey guys, the engine rules for the B-mod class at Fredericktown are basically the same as the specs for the 602 crate engine, therefore the 602 is legal. .480" lift, flattop piston 350, stock heads [VORTEC's], aluminum intake.
These rules allow you to either buy a reliable engine package from GM or build your own if you like. Either way you are still competitive. Come on down and help us build this class.
