How about making it the Mike Meuer (sp??) Memorial Race, make it $5000 to win Late Models, $2000 to win A-Mods, $1500 to win Sportsman and B-Mods, and $800 to win Pro-4.

Now, don't get me wrong here. I'm not knocking the current announcers. They do their best, have fun, and seem to have a good time with the drivers. But Mike was a huge part of I-55 for such a long time, and I think he deserves some recognition.

I had the pleasure along with my oldes daughter to see mike in action and boy he was really good! I agree and would be a great way to end the season
 
He announced at Belle Clair Speedway and Highland. Belle Clair has an annual event in his name each year now. It would be good for I-55 and Highland to have a yearly special in his name.
