Results from Semo
The racing at Semo was very good. Had a smaller car count but the track owners were very happy with the show. Was a bit dusty which hampered the heat race but the feature went well. Had some guys from Doe Run come down but the Malden guys never showed. Had a total of 7 cars. The track owners said it was the smallest car count and smallest crowd ever since they have been open, but the track owners were awesome and very laid back. We ran a 10 lap heat race and a 20 lap feature. The rusults were:

I do know that Bill's buddy in the Jeff Gordon #24 look alikekslle said:

in a race "IN A CHEVY" AND WON....There were only 7 cars
that showed up, 4 Rams & 3 Doe Run guys....Didn't get the
official results of the feature but I think the "Big Zero" won..

Yeah...a BIG Congrats to Tod on his first heat win in his FIRST HEAT RACE EVER!
The owners at SEMO are nice folks but the DUST!! I'm suprised someone didn't get hurt. I was going into the corners completely blind. Hope to never have to race in something like that again.
Yes Bob...the ol chevys are running pretty good. Tod won the heat and was leading the feature for about 6 laps when his battery gave out. And I was running in 2nd in the feature behind Wolf and got a little impatient on the black track trying to make some ground up on wolf a little faster with 3 laps to go and looped the stupid thing. Darn driver error. Come out 4th but that truck deserved more if it wasn't for the driver on that one.
It's a fun little track but man the DUST!! Had fun racing with everyone out there...that is when I could see you. hehe

The dust is always like that down there. We raced karts there last year and it was like that. But as you probably saw the karts get the track black after hotlaps and it's a one lane track the rest of the night and it's not as bad, plus it's the type of track their used to racing on. All in all it's a really nice and fast track.

I got a bunch of blue platic hangin on my rear bumper, ya want me to scape it together so ya can glue it back on your nose? Had a blast racing against you guys. Need to come to MCS and run when ya can, or if I pass the rules I might come to Doe Run.

Yeah I helped you around when you locked them up when Thompson was spinning out in front of you. I I tried to lift and miss you cause you were coming around too. But forget about that one....how about the parking we did in 3 in hot laps....Now that takes talent and skill to do what we did. hehe if I wasn't on my game you could of had a WHOLE LOT OF BLUE on you car. LOL

A friend of mine got a good pic of you wavin at me and me wavin at you as we were parked in the middle of turns 3 and 4. I will have to try to get it made or send it to ya, but during the feature, I might have had alot of black on your pretty blue but I did wave as I went by

New Blood for Chevy Trucks
Bill has introduced a new driver to the chevy fold. His name is
Todd. For a first timer, I was impressed. He held his line, very fast, & nice scheme on his truck. As I said, I was Impressed. Glad to see Bill, Todd, &
C J Wright show up to race. They added a new demension to the group. As compared to last year all three are very fast cars/trucks this year. I didn't look, but, they sounded like FORDS. Great show guys. As for the Wolf and I,
you guys can run anytime, your welcome.
