FARMINGTON, Mo. -- (June 22, 2005) The latest point races in the various classes at the St. Francois County Raceway features some extremely tight competition.
In the Sportsmen class, #53 Matt Eaton holds a narrow six-point advantage (446-440) over second place #26 Kasey Nations and only a 10-point advantage over third place #35 Doug Savage.
In the 600cc Multi class there is a tie for the top spot between #57d Tom Dickerman and #20 Andy Moss (436-436). However the two lead the rest of the pack by 96 points.
In the Modified class, #1 Mike Francis holds an eight-point lead over second place #18x Jeremy Greenwalt (492-484) with #56 Tommy Worley Sr., #16 Kenny Kennedy and #71b John Bohn all within striking distance.
In the Sprints, #32 Timmy Montgomery leads his younger brother #21c Joey Montgomery by 18-points (526-508) with #97 Tommy Worley Jr. and #28 Jason Keith also still in the hunt for a track title.
In the Pure Street class, #31 Mark Todd holds the biggest lead of any of the class leaders as he holds a 44-point advantage over second place #37 Chris Webb (430-394).
