(CAMARGO, IL) 3-29-07 Bixby, Oklahoma’s Shane Stewart last competed with the All Star Circuit of Champions in 2002 and racked up 3 wins that season at Fremont, Mercer, and Florence. He added another All Star victory in 2004 in Jetmore, KS. Now he will return to the series full time in 2007 along with former team owner Junior Holbrook. Shane now resides in Indianapolis, IN with wife Kimberly and will be able to stay much closer to home running the All Star schedule. Junior Holbrook has partnered with Larry Wood to put together a team for Shane and they will base their operations out of Larry’s shop in Ohio.

Shane recently returned from Australia where he spent the last several months competing with the World Series (WSS) in Bill Mann’s #Q6 car. His uncertainty of finding a solid ride back in the USA kept him in Australia through the All Star’s season opener at Volusia Speedway in February. It was his past success in driving the Holbrook car that prompted Junior to return to the ownership role to give Shane another opportunity to win some races.

“Junior and I won quite a few races together in the past, so hopefully we’ll be able to get started off on the right foot and pick up right where we left off,” said Stewart. "I'm looking forward to running the All Star series this year so I can get on top of my game and return to Victory Lane."

For the past two seasons Shane piloted the Rudeen Racing #26 car for Kevin Rudeen claiming such honors as Dirt Cup Champion, World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year, Knoxville Nationals Preliminary Night “A Feature”
Winner, and most recently competed for the National Sprint Tour Championship before heading to Australia last winter.

Shane will debut the familiar #8H Holbrook car at Attica Raceway Park on Friday March 30th . “We’re going to go out to Attica’s season opener and shake the car down,” said Stewart. “We’re still working on getting all of our sponsors together and as soon as that’s all lined up we’ll let everyone know.”

Shane will make his series debut when the O’Reilly All Stars return to Attica Raceway Park on Friday April 6th and Saturday April 7th for the “Coors Light Attica Spring Nationals”. Shane will be chasing the $50,000 O’Reilly All Star season points championship for the remainder of the
2007 season.
