Show Me 4x4 DOMINATE at Gravelrama

From the reports I've received, the Missouri Show Me 4x4s simply owned everything at Gravelrama, including a NEW RECORD for Josh Stephens and Blown Income... I think it was 3.22 and 112 mph. This was one of their big goals. I'm sure Daniel will give us a big recap once he gets in. I heard his car caught fire though!!

Hey everyone!

We had an awesome time, one of the best that I can kind of remember!

I'm not completely sure about all of the results but I can remember a few.

on the Hill drags on friday night they were having a terrible problem with the lights. So, they ran my class and i got down the the last 4 or so and the next pass i made they said i clearly beat the guy and his win light came on, and i did not redlight. they were having this problem all night and just kind of letting it happen until my pass and a few before me. so they decided to completely run my class over. I got my money's worth out of them because i made like 7 passes up the hill. and ended up winning the class in a close final round. i definently got my frequent flier miles on that one! My father's class went very smooth and he won also. some other's will have to join in and tell the rest.

On the flat drags my father and I both kept going rounds and were in the final before we knew it. I caught a few lucky breaks 2 redlights, and one guy ran out of nitrous. My father did not have it so easy. he ran Dustin G. and won on a hole shot, ran dave myers and it was a very close race i believe he only won by a few thousandths. then in shut down on that pass his car popped and was dead. it got pretty hectic when we were trying to fix his car, but a wire came unplugged and we were going again smoothly. and he also came out victorious. And show me 4x4 won all the X classes except xxa.

on the hill climb my father was up first he made it all three times over but on his timed run he caught a ridge in the hill and it shot him on the left two tires of the car and killed his time.
I had a very smooth ride up the hill, unfortunatly not so much on the way down. on the way down my engine died and i was a little busy driving or should i say trying not to roll my car over on the back side. Any way i forgot to shut off my switches, which in turn left my fuel pump running probably putting a lot of pressure into the fuel bowls of the carb. and when i was coming down the back side the fuel was spilling into the carb. and when i went to hit the starter at the bottom it ignited. i saw about foot and a half flame coming out of the hood scoop and got out as fast as i could. got the body up and they got the fire out very quickly. then i chose not to run the next pass for fear of ****ing the extinguisher powder into the motor. so we called it quits.

But J.R. won XA and Johnny won XB on the hill
Dustin G got 3rd in XC

it was a good weekend all in all.
