Millstadt, IL – Casey Shuman of Tempe AZ and Jeremy Camp of Blue Mound IL WIN the 2010 POWRi presented by Speedway Motors season opener. Casey driving the Don Moore Spike/Gaerte owned midget sponsored by Impact Racing and Leaders Edge won the 40 lap main event at the DuQuoin Southern Illinois Center. Casey started on the front row outside and passed Brad Loyet of Sunset Hills, MO on lap 16. This was Caseys second career victory with POWRi winning his first at Lucas Oil Speedway in 2008. Rounding out the top 5 were Casey Shuman, Brad Loyet, Austin Brown, Brad Kuhn and Tyler Robbins.
Jeremy Camp driving the Jmac Racing Sawyer/Yamaha owned micro sponsored by Building Systems of Illinois and JF Electric won the 3rd annual Dean King Memorial POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro main event. Jeremy started on the second row inside and took the lead on lap 3. The race was a 30 lap green, white, checkered event, with no yellows. Rounding out the top 5 were Jeremy Camp, Nic Harris, Gregg Dillion, Andrew Felker and Dereck King.
