So if your illegal during tech, just threaten to sue the track..

No, they could change parts after pre-race tech, in their own pits, prior to racing. I've watched it happen at Volusia. Without post race tech how are you going to catch anything that could have been altered or changed before taking the track. No way it's possible to "tag" or "stamp" all the different pieces. I'm more interested in what you actually raced with, rather than what you presented pre-race.

We need a fair and impartial tech guy who will check whatever he sees fit to check without promoter saying I'm not interested in checking that also someone who doesn't own a car in any division so we don't have that argument plain and simple tracks have to be willing to let tech take place and for god sakes give the tech guy a FREE pit pass

but are at you at the drivers meeting supers do not have that many rules but you break them at certain tracks you might not be able to race there again
 
i was thinking about it. i dont think it is the tech guys as much as the promoters. They were DQ'ing people at west plains for things most racers or tech guys dont check, such as the measurement from the motor plate to the center of the rear end housing. they also DQ'ed people for too high of deck height. It is 38" by the way. No change it, or it is ok, but you are disqualified. kind of hard to argue when we all have access to the rule book. I feel like the promoters dont want to run racers off over tech so they dont want tough tech. I think they are wrong
 
F40 if they don't tech after big races then how did Bloomquest get dq for his car being to light. Have you ever done anything other then be a spectator at the races. From what I have read on here I don't think so. So why don't you listen to the ones that have and learn something.

You obviously have not attended the World or Dream. They go trough tech on the first day and they basically look over the entire car (5 or 6 tech guys).

EXACTLY BUT THEY DON'T DO TECH AFTER THE RACE EXCEPT WEIGHT AND TIRE ISSUE

really now its callled the scales most tracks might use them thats not the question and how can a named driver be so stupid to not use the tracks scales is beyond me
