tell him we need bmods on the 1/4 mile and say the hell with godfreys carol clan:)

We appreciate all the fans and drivers who have called and emailed. We close the purchase on January 7, 2005. At that time we will announce the plans for the 2005 season. Please be patient, we don't wish to keep anyone waiting, we can't wait to
make this a great season for the drivers and the fans.

Whats the big deal you can run your steel blockwith the ohter guys too, You just dont need your own calss one big class and that would be great. For bmods we dont need them we just want ump mods one big class their too.

Good Luck Kevin and Family!!! :D

I think the whole purpose of the steel blocks was to offer a place to race away from the high dollar guys. That the differnce in a steel and aluminum block. Weight and $$$$$$$$$$$!!!!! if they can afford the aluminum block chances are they can afford more on down the line. another words, somewhat affordable late model racing!

If I have said once I have said a thousand times the current latemodel chassis are light enough to get the percentages how you want with a steel block or aluminum. The big difference in the haves and have nots is the tire and wheel inventory, multiple cars, multiple engines, and spare parts.

Are the Street Stocks gone for sure or are they gonna stay ?? If the track goes UMP. Why not have the new UMP street stocks run also ? It will be a total UMP sanction track.......

Thanks Kevin, so many of us are looking forward to coming to your track now! I used to hate Tri-City Speedway but now that it's in your hands we know that it will improve. Please keep the LM on the 1/4 so we can see some better racing! I think it challenges the driver's ability more and they have to have more skill and not just a big money motor. Nobody should know better than you Kevin how that improves the racing there and gives the fans a closer look at the stars on the 1/4 mile. I will be there as a fan and as a driver if my car is legal there. I have an Allied Pure stock in the making.

It sounds as though Mr. Gundaker has quite a few fans on here, willing to praise his as-of-yet unproven managerial skills. Being a good guy is one thing, being a successful business operator is something completely different. I wish him the best at this endeavour.
