I saw this on 4m.....

I heard tonight from a very reliable source that as was discussed in the drivers meetings, purses will be increased in all of Macons divisions starting this Saturday May 5. I was told that Macon management feels very fortunate to have many loyal car owners, drivers, and fans. Also they will be giving away Hoosier tires weekly, cases of Mobil 1 oil, shirts, hats, and contingency connection certificates. The Fast 5 series (which sounds like a great thing for all of the drivers) is going to start on May 19 with $1500 to win for the late models and a true truckload of contingencies. Also mentioned in the conversation was that there will be other nights other than what is already on the schedule where the purses will be increased. I know from being there that the improvements to the facility are awesome. Also the night I was there they were announcing about giving away a car. Wow it sounds to me like the fans are going to be getting some really great giveaways too.

I Understand Being A Promoter Is No Cake Walk For Most. Some Just Simply Can't Afford To Pay Anymore Than They Do. But, On The Other Hand, There Are Some Who Could And Don't. They Live By The "if They Come For What I'm Paying, Why Raise It?" Motto. Its Nice To See A Track Doing More For The Racers Without The Track Having To Start Losing Cars To Provoke It. If That Be The Case!
 
On one hand you would think these guys could at least pay what other tracks are paying but, I do understand that the track was pretty run down plus they bought 14 acers so ,they could have a bigger pit area. I think once they pay for some of the improvements they have made the pay will get better. It will take low car counts to make them pay better because that has already happened.

but I will this time watched the show last night on speed it was funny when they talked to kenny wallace steven wallace told you go cheated where is the rest of the track lol
