New information on the street stocks. $500.00 will be paid to the street stock winner. This is in addition to the 100% pay back. See you all there.

Thank,

Michael Martin

Are you speaking of the street stock or the 4 cylinder payout? I have raced against you guys before and really enjoyed it (Godfrey). 4 cylinder payout is at the following link:
http://www.4m.net/showthread.php?t=75792

Street stock were going to have 100% payback in the feature purse. 30 cars at $20= $600, 40 cars at $20= 800, etc. Upon some thinking and questions I have decide to change this. I am paying $500 out of my own pocket to the street stock winner. The remaining cars starting feature will divide up the 100% payback feature purse.

I assume you are still running your hornets. Let me know if you are coming and how many you will be bringing. If you need anything or have any question feel free to contact me.

We will also be racing the night before. There will be added money for the hornets that night. This will allow those interest to get in some practice and pick up a couple extra dollars at the same time. Over night parking will be allowed at race facility which will allow for 2 race events on one tank of gas. Hope to see you there.

We will run a semi feature and take 2 out of the semi. This will bring the starting field to 20 cars. The 21 will be a provisional spot. This spot will be filled by highest finishing non qualified car from the previous Sept. 27th feature. The final spot in feature will be a fan provisional. All non qualified drivers wishing to make feature will go to the stand with helmets and ask for donations. The driver who collects the most money will be considered the fan favorite and qualify for the last starting spot in feature.
ALL PROCEEDS FROM THIS COLLECTION WILL BE DONATED TO RELAY FOR LIFE!!!

These numbers are being based on a 60 car hornet field. I will not run more than 10 cars in a heat. There will be heats added to keep this from happening. Top 3 out of added heats will be added to the feature. There will be no more than 25 cars in the semi. If more than that I will add more semis and take 2 out of each. I am doing this so everyone can have a good chance of getting into the race.

This will be a 40 lap feature. The feature will be lined up in the following manner. All feature qualified drivers will line up and draw for there starting position. This will set the grid for first 20 laps. There will be a manditory pit stop at this time. Race will be stopped and all cars are allowed to return to pit area and work on car. This break will be a minimum of 15 minutes. We will a run support class feature at this time. You will then return to the track in the order you finished the first segment. This will be a double file restart. Next 20 laps will be ran to determine feature winner. Hot pitting will be allowed during the feature event.

If any questions please feel free to pm me or contact me by phone(leave message and # if I do not answer)

Car rules will be posted on seperate thread

ROUGH DRIVING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED IN THIS RACE. IF YOU FEEL THIS IS THE WAY TO WIN PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND. This is a race put on by racers for racers and this is what we all want. A good clean race where everyone goes home safe with a smile and loads there car in one piece.

Spoon $1500 HORNET and $500 Street Stock Moved to Sept 21
Attention all Street Stock and Hornet Drivers

Due to a scheduling conflict the Sept 28 show has been moved to Sept 21. The track had no choice but to move our date due to Tom Knowles Memorial rain out. Everything else will be the same. Times, Pay, and Fun. I sincerely am sorry for any problems I might create by moving this date. I even thought of canceling but I refuse to let mother nature win. Thanks again. "THIS WILL BE A UMP POINTS RACE SO THOSE OF YOU OUT THERE CHASING POINT IN THE UMP 4 CYLINDER COME ON UP OR DOWN TO SPOON AND GET SOME".
