Due to the extremely cold temperatures forecasted for Saturday night, officials at West Plains Motor Speedway have decided to move the race to the afternoon. Gates will open at 12:00 Noon on Saturday April 7, with hot laps beginning at 1:00 and the races will get underway at 1:30.
This will be the first event of 2007 for the Race Brothers Show-Me Racin Series. Many new drivers are expected this season including Justin Asplin of Birch Tree, MO, Todd McIntyre of Cassville, Adam Gautney from Exeter and many returning drivers including Justin Wells & Darrin Barton. Show-Me regulars coming back include: Ken & Leslie Essary, Jim Fulp, Kevin Henson, Rick Lebow, Jarrod Hilton, Ken Patterson, Tyler Milner and many more.
Admission for the Special event is $15 for adults, kids 7-11 yrs old $4, and pit passes will be $30. Modified, Super Stock, Hobby Stock, Cruiser, and Youth Pure Stock divisions will also be competing. The track is located 6 miles south of West Plains, MO on Hwy 63.
