(FRANKLIN, INDIANA) Steve Barnett Racing, along with Delph Communications, is excited to announce the launch of a new website into cyber-space dedicated to Dirt Late Model driver Steve Barnett, of Franklin, Indiana.

The new site, located at www.stevebarnett89.com, will be kept up-to-date with the latest news, schedule, and results concerning the Steve Barnett Racing team. The Five-Time Northern AllStars Late Model Series Champion drives the J.D. Byrider / Tony Stewart Motorsports / Advanced Racing Suspensions #89 GRT / Cornett Monte Carlo on dirt tracks throughout the Midwest. He also maintains Nextel NASCAR Cup driver Tony Stewart’s Dirt Late Models.

“I have needed to get a website for awhile now, but I figured that for my thirtieth year in racing, I would finally get one,” stated Steve in a telephone conversation recently. “A lot of fans are always wondering where I am racing, so this will provide an easy way for them to follow both my schedule and results. In addition, we needed to provide J.D. Byrider, Tony Stewart Motorsports, and the rest of my sponsors some advertisement on the Internet.”

Steve is about to enter his thirtieth year of racing and the new site is designed to reflect back on his career, as well as look forward to the future. “The Franklin Flyer” is planning on contending for his first O’Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass Series title in 2005, while also running a majority of the Lucas Oil NARA Dirtcar Series. As always, Steve will also be a key factor at the major events at his favorite track, the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN.

“We are planning on running with the BoB Series in 2005, so that will be something different then we have done in the past,” said “The Franklin Flyer”. We have a lot of friends and family down in Kentucky and the organizers of the BoB Series are first class people. The competition is tough in that series, so it will be a real challenge for our team to win the title, but we are going to give it our best!”

Steve Barnett Racing would like to thank all of their sponsors heading into the upcoming 2005 racing season. Those sponsors include: J.D. Byrider, Tony Stewart Racing, Advanced Racing Suspensions, Aeroquip Performance Products, Clements Racing Engines, Cornett Racing Engines, C-Line Engineering, Delph Communications, Dyer’s Rods, G.B. Graphics, GRT Race Cars, Hoosier Tire, Peterson Fluid Systems, Mason Racin’, R&B Construction, Simpson, Spear’s Auto Parts, Sunoco Racing Fuel, True Speed Enterprises, Weld Racing Wheels, Wick Oil, and Wilwood.
