HUTCHINSON, Kan. – After 3 races this year in O’Reilly Auto Parts Topless Outlaw Racing Association competition 2005 Champion Steve Kosiski had not found victory lane. In fact Kosiski hadn’t tasted victory in O’Reilly TORA racing since May of last year, somewhat of a dry spell for the 2 time defending champion. That all changed with a dominating performance on Friday night at the Hutchinson Raceway Park.

Kosiski took off from the inside second row on the start and got past both front row pace sitters to take the lead. From there it was no challenge for Kosiski as the rest of the pack battled for their respective positions. At the end of the 30 lap Main Event it was Kosiski taking the win followed by Larry McDaniels, Gary Gorby, Delbert Smith, and Ted Martin.

In heat race action McDaniels took control of heat 1 over Martin and Craig Preble. In heat 2 Gorby took top honors ahead of Ryan McAninch and Dimond Mundy. In the third heat race Kosiski won over Smith and Mike Conkwright.
